Always have to remind myself...

...if I find an interesting piece of textile history, I have to either bookmark it or save the page so I can find it later.

I want to show this absolutely lovely fisherman's kimono that's 500 years old, and was made entirely from patches and darning... I remember the pictures of it, but I can't find it anymore.

There are sites that describe how it was done, and who did the work traditionally, but no farking photos.
