AS PROMISED!!
The other 3 elemental shortbread cookies!

Earth! Flavored with vanilla and sprinkled with fresh chopped rosemary prior to baking, hand-brushed alchemical symbol for earth done in black food coloring!

Fire! Flavored with orange essential oil, topped with dry sweet basil prior to baking, alchemical symbol hand-brushed on with food coloring.

And finally my personal favorite and personal element..WATER! Flavored with lime essential oil and fresh chopped thyme leaves sprinkled on prior to baking, alchemical symbol hand-brushed on with green food coloring!
The Shortbread Base
2 cups butter
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar (I find using raw dried cane sugar juice is awesome for flavor. You can also go entirely brown sugar for these if you wanna keep it simple.)
3 3/4 to 4 cups flour
pinch of salt
Oil flavoring: 1/2 tsp
Herbs: 1 tbsp dry, 2 tsp for freshly chopped.
Food coloring paint recipe
1/4 tsp Wilton's Food Coloring Paste of Choice
1- 1 1/2 tbsp water
Cream butter and sugar, scraping bowl to make sure everything is evenly mixed in. Add flour in half-cup measures so you don't end up with a flour explosion in your mixing bowl. Roll out onto a cookie mat or clean flat surface that you don't mind cutting on. Use cookie cutters or slice into bars. Place onto cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. I sprinkle on the herbs and/or lavender at this point and paint on what I want onto the cookies with a watercolor brush. Preheat oven to 325 and bake for 20 minutes.
OH! And whoever wants cookies for christmas? NOTE ME, OR EMAIL OR IM ME YOUR MAILING ADDRESS PLZKTHNX??!!??
You'll get 4-5 coins of each element! Or just specify.
