I'm hoping, that in this fair little exercise, that by writing down these little annoying questions which can keep me up til dawn pondering. I may stave them off until I am rested, sane and perhaps more capable of reasoning them out than at 3 o-bloody-fuckass-clock in the morning. Hopefully, when I wake UP tomorrow I'll also remember that these questions were running amok in my head like feral notions sprouted off of the Ursula Vernon story collection I read today.
This is what my brain does when I worry too damn much about something. Hoping this staves off another 'pickle theory' night.
when did we start using packaged yeast and how is it made?
How does one make a sourdough starter from wild grapes? (this one inspired by Mushi-shi and my boss at work)
What other sugar-bearing plant-derived substances might also contain wild yeasts suitable for fermentations that could create food? What if they were magical in nature? (Note: Ursula has DONE the narcotic peach. I am not her, and I shall not crib notes on peaches at any rate)
