crazyfurriesan update on that situation.
My time spent going from fond du lac to sheboygan was wasted due to the fact that the job center in fond du lac is the same system that operates in sheboygan. joy.
A job search in Fond du Lac through the job center reveled there to be only a foundry position that wanted *only* EXPERIENCED or TRAINED workers for their foundry.
There was however several jobs more up my alley, including one where I'd be mowing the lawn at an art museum, not only is it one that I enjoy going to, but it also prefers it's applicants to appreciate art, understand it, or are in an art major. It entails mostly mowing the lawn, trimming plants, sweeping walkways and cleaning the floors but still.
After I told mom about the foundry only wanting trained or experienced workers she immediately set to finding me a similar job in that place through her contact.
