what's the XP like for dealing with an over-flowing water softener and switching everything to hard water for the next few days while you wait for a repairman?

Probably would act as one of the tomes in D&D ; you know, the "read this, go up to the midpoint of your -next- level of experience, gain 1 wisdom" kinda dealies.

Only instead of +1 wisdom, you're probably +1 DEX, and -50 SAN.

I'd say that's fair, yeah.

And probably high dex because of all the water you must be slopping up.

Actually, that would add +1 to STR, but ... I greatly, greatly fear a CF with more than one increased stat -and- a -50 SAN penalty going on.

I mean, there's only so much my armory is built to defend against, should she snap .............

SWW, you know I snapped a long time ago.

called the repairman, coming tuesday.

found out WHY it flooded and got another SAN penalty after I hung up and started venting loudly at the wall.

Well, yes dear, but you snapped in a way that is still stoppable with non-lethal munitions. I'm thinking more along the lines of the second snapping point where those aren't going to cut it.
