If I want to wash I have to boil water on the stove and pour it into the tub to bathe.

See, I wouldn't bother with that. I'd just bathe in cold water. =\ 'course, I'm stubborn and lazy that way.

cold water does not get the body oils out of my hair.

Also I'd bolt out of the tub if it were a bath that cold.

Oy, not fun. Busted hot-water heaters are a definate minus. What's the estimate on a repair and/or replacement? I hope it won't take too long.

we haven't gotten an estimate yet because mom wants to cheap out and have her boyfriend fix it...
