State of the Fuzzy Address

Alright... I'mma gonna be fucking dead soon.

My Boss at work is extending the lengths of the shifts until the end of the season. What was an 8-hour weekday shift, is now, for the forseeable future, going to become a 10 shift.

I have no idea WHY or WHAT possessed him to do this, but giving us longer hours isn't going to endear us towards staying after-hours anymore.

I'd better get going and refill my tank.

Personally, I prefer longer shifts - it gets me more hours (and therefore more money) without having to come in another time, saving on gas.

Do you get overtime pay?

Bah. What a punk. He'd better find at least an intangible incentive for staying that long every day.

I hope he's offering overtime...or the option of doing a four day work week. I don't know what the labor laws are in your area but if he's not doing something in terms of incentive he's probably breaking a few of them.
