About the jobs
Apr. 30th, 2008 04:09 pm3 interviews this week, in order, a part-time bartending gig, a full time secondshift job at a sausage factory (hush you), and a line cook at an indie bistro in a fancy resort, the interveiw of which I had today and got told to come over for training this friday.
When I get home, there's a message for me in gmail about the bartending gig. pay ain't what i'd want and the only benefit is tips. Then I get a phonecall from the staffing agency that's hiring for the sausage packing plant (shush you or it's the cattleprod) saying they'd be willing to hire me. I talk with them a bit and they said I could reapply and they'd keep my application on record should the cook thing fall through.
Not so much luck with the bartending gig, but in all.
YAY! JOB!
