..bordertown kind of weather today
Sep. 29th, 2011 03:43 pmIn the book, Finder, by Emma Bull. Orient goes into a little detail about the weather common to bordertown, being like a bright white and blue watercolor painting when you looked at it, and completely unpredictable as to when the storms would come to wash out the streets, or where.
Today, looking out the window at my hometown, is entirely that statement. White cotton wadding puffs of clouds skate across a blue, blue sky. And right along side of that vision, in my peripherial sight, I get the flash from a lightning stike, and the rumble of thunder from the storm right over my head, and while that watercolour sky vision is still in sight, the rain rattles down on the rooftop.
And then it's sunny again while the water is still rattling down from above and it's Kitsune Wedding weather.
