crazyfurriesMom and I just had a little discussion after she reminded me to pick up some clothes. As I was scurrying back down to the basement and the computer where I was chatting she stopped me. She asked in her usualy 'I want you to stay here' tone if I was on chat. I, sick and damn well tired of this conversation, replied snippily that I was on chat.
She retorted a question about how much time I spend 'talking' to people online and began our ever-hating conversation about how I should spend more 'family time'. Fuck. I replied that I didn't relly know ho much time I spent, it was probably a lot. She went on her little rant about how I spend too much time down by the computer talking to people and refuse to spend time witht he rest of the house any time other than dinner, that all i do is hibernate down here, and the only time she sees me is at dinner, and usually right afterwards I run back down here to talk with people.
Well HELL MOM! WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU WANT ME TO TALK ABOUT?!? I have nothing I want to talk to YOU about, so guess what? I don't hang around you or the rest of the house often. Conversations with my brothers lead to arguments, conversations with her lead to a lecture that I've heard before and don't want to hear again, and all she does is WANT TO CONTINUE IT ALL THE MORE!!!!!

Ugh.
Just remember that part of it at least is that she's just worried about loosing you as you get older.
I know it doesn't make it any less annoying when it happens, but at least it explains some of it.
