Here's the results of today's cookie baking...




They're each about the size of a silver dollar, lemon-lavender shortbreads and the purple food coloring painted on top of them is the alchemical symbol for air~

EDIT: For reference, there will be 3 more elemental shortbreads coming.

Mwahaha. Tell you what, when I finish the other 3 of the 4 elemental shortbreads, i'll provide my 'base' recipe for them, along with how I pulled them off. Deal?

Oh, yeah! That'd be awesome. I just got done teaching an online class on Five Elements through Five Senses, and I'd love to get some recipes for the next time around to make the Tasting portion of each element more interesting. (If you let me share the recipes, that is.)

And yes i'll be willing to share them. I think though that the making of these is my exercise into spirit. i'm never as energetic or floating anywhere as I am when I cook or create something.
