I will never cease being delighted at the look and feel of a handembroidered piece of work.

Just doing work in a single color lets me explore all the kinds of textures I can achieve with thread. French knots, bullion knots, back stitches, sachiko, and chains....

Now if I could figure out how to record dozens of nature documentaries to listen/watch while I'm working I think i'd never stop.
