11:35pm I am lighting off bottle rockets to ring in the New Year and scare the pants offa bad luck. Bottle Rocket lands on roof and explodes with smoke. I begin panicking and trying to throw water onto the roof.

12:05am Randomly running out and checking roof still for signs of cinders/embers/smoke, running into attic.

Brain: we're gonna die in out sleep from the roof on firewearegonnadiewearegonnadie
Me: shut up.
Brain: WE ARE GONNA DIE INNA FIRE
Me: SHUT UP

Me: AAAAAAAARRRRGH PARANOIA IS NOT HOW WE WANNA START OFF THE NEW YEAR GODSDAMNIT!!

2:08 am Brain: ...no fire?
Me: NO SHIT SHERLOCK
Brain: oh okay, we're going to be fine- *something snaps out in the living room, under where the bottle rocket landed*ARGHWEAREGONNADIEINNAFIRE!!!!!
